The TSA Security lanes at the Minneapolis / St. Paul International Airport Terminal 1 South Checkpoint will be closed for three weeks for renovation.  The TSA Pre-Check lanes will remain open, however all other passengers will be directed to the North checkpoint.

“Innovation Lanes” are being installed at the South Security Checkpoint to automate many of the manual functions currently done.  The new automated lanes are expected to become operational in early September and passengers will be able to clear security up to 40% faster than the traditional security lanes.  These automated security lanes will be added to the North Security Checkpoint next year.
